Kitchen Cabinet Resurfacing (KCR) was founded in 1986. Owner, Davin Therriault has continued the family tradition by employing his wife, Alicia, mother and father, Trudy and David, and his sister, Timi. The family enjoys a relaxed and comfortable working environment. Our 5400 square foot shop was purchased in 1998 and is located at 136 Merriam Street in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Our 10 man crew is fully trained to answer the needs of our customers, both at our shop, and on installations.
We like to think that there are four major differences between us and our refacing competitors. We use:
• ¼" natural wood for refacing, applied with both super-bonding glue and nails
• Select quality solid wood door and drawer fronts that are hand-matched
• Long-lasting, care-free, high quality hinges and handles
• Non-yellowing, scratch, stain and water-resistant high-tech finishes
In addition to manufacturing and installation, Kitchen Cabinet Resurfacing also designs kitchens and builds additional cabinets with all of our work covered by our ten-year guarantee.
Because of our efficient system, we are installing up to 3 kitchens per week, and booked ahead 1-2 months in advance.

Our Guarantee:
Kitchen Cabinet Resurfacing's doors, refacing materials, and countertops, except as otherwise specified, are guaranteed for ten full years from the final date of installation, to be of good material and workmanship and suitable for the use for which they were manufactured. As nature provides no two trees alike, it must be expected that a degree of texture, grain, and color variation will exist on natural woods. These characteristics should not be considered a defect. Kitchen Cabinet Resurfacing agrees to repair or replace, at its option, without charge, any product found to be defective within the period of this guarantee. Doors up to 48" high are guaranteed against warpage of more than 1/4". Doors of any style over 48" high requiring two panels cannot be guaranteed against warpage of more than 1/4".
